WHAT TO BRING
When packing a diaper
bag for your child, please include the following items:
:: two or three disposable
diapers (no cloth diapers, please)
:: a complete change of
clothes
:: bottle of milk, formula,
juice or water (this is a good practice even for mothers who
nurse)Please label all personal
items (including pacifiers and cups) with your child's first and
last name before arriving. This helps us
keep track of your child's items. We provide diaper label
tags as a gift to everything child.
CHECK IN/OUT
A nursery leader will meet you at the door to receive your
child, diaper bag and any other necessary items and give you
a security label. Please note on the security label any
information that will help in caring for your child, such as
feeding times, sleeping times, allergies and special needs.
It is important that you label any items especially diaper
bags, bottles, etc.
We provide hand-held vibrating pagers to our
nursery families (1 per family). The
pagers allow us to easily locate you on our
campus if your child needs you for some
reason.

Baby Dedication is a time for for parents to
acknowledge their need for God's wisdom, guidance
and strength inparenting. As a church, it is our
time to embrace families and let them know we will
support them, pray for them and love them. |
After you have completed the
check-in process, give a quick kiss, tell the child you will be
back soon and leave. As you know, it
is normal for little ones to cry when a parent leaves. This does
not last long, and separation becomes easier over time. Our
teachers will immediately create interest in a toy or activity
and give assurance that you will return. We do not want any
child to be unhappy, so if your child cries for more than a few
minutes, we will page you.
We provide a staffed nursery for all church services and
most events. |
