GOD |
 |
There is one God who exists in three persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1,26,27 & 3:22; Psalm 90:2; 1 Peter
1:2
JESUS
Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God
and was
born of a virgin. He was God and man, and while on this earth
lived a sinless life. He died in our place as a sacrifice for the
sins of man, was buried, rose from the dead after three days, and
ascended into Heaven. It is only through Jesus Christ that we
receive salvation and eternal life with God.
Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John1:1-5 & 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that God the Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Guide who
lives in every Christian believer. We believe that He is active in
convincing unbelievers of their need for salvation in Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13 & 14:16-17;
Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Ephesians 1:13
MAN
Man is a special creation of
God. In the beginning God created mankind in His image,
and is not in any sense the product of evolution. Mankind was
originally created with the ability to live perfectly for God's glory.
All human beings are sinners in need of salvation.
Genesis 1:17 & 31
BIBLE
The Bible is the infallible Word of God. It is
without error and the only authority for life and faith.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy
1:13; Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 30:5
SALVATION
Salvation is a gift that can only be received by
repenting of sin and putting your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior. Eternal life with God begins the moment one receives Jesus
Christ into his life. We believe that every person who has truly
accepted Jesus as their Savior has eternal salvation which cannot be lost and
will live in Heaven with Him.

BAPTISM/LORD'S
SUPPER
Jesus instructed His followers to remember His death and
resurrection. He gave the church two visible symbols (called
"ordinances") as reminders. These two ordinances are
baptism and the Lord's Supper. Neither of these ordinances
contains any saving grace. We believe in baptism through water
immersion because of the example of Jesus
Christ. Baptism is an
act of obedience to Christ's command which comes after salvation.
The Lord's Supper is an ongoing symbol remembering our Lord's death,
burial, resurrection, and promised return.
Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32
